Technical Support Analyst ($60-70,000)

CompNet have an opportunity in the Leichhardt area for an Information Technology (Support) employee. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to experience a wide range of IT roles in which you will constantly be challenged to meet the ever changing demands of IT for small to medium business.  Our Company deals with clients remotely all over Australia, as well as directly with those in Sydney.

The employee will undertake a wide range of tasks including:

  • Helpdesk – provide good customer service through phone, email and remote control
  • Office and windows support
  • Google Apps, Office365 and Cloud support
  • Updating and installing system and application software
  • Cleaning computer systems
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware software and network problems
  • Managing Servers
  • Product research and evaluation
  • Assisting other support staff
  • Occasional software/website testing tasks
  • Occasional training assistance
  • Website management
  • Administrative tasks
  • Operation and monitoring of Backup-Systems
  • Some travel to client locations around greater Sydney area

Other opportunities in the company include:

  • Web site development
  • Programming in ASP.net, JQuery, Ajax
  • Database management of SQL
  • WordPress management

Must Have:

  • Genuine interest in a career in the IT Industry
  • Completed a Degree or Diploma in the IT field or like experience
  • Confident clear communicator, reliable, enthusiastic
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong numeric and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Current Driver’s License / reliable transport

Remuneration:

$60-70,000 depending on skill set and experience
